Inspired by the song Luka by Suzanne Vega

Sorry for all the more reflective posts...but somehow I feel like they allow my ideas to flow better. Sometimes comedy is too surface (but still important).

Anyway the song is about child abuse...quite like another song "Concrete Angel"

Just another post to remind myself about how I should always remember all of those who are not as fortunate as me to have a loving family. Many times, its the innocent victims that take the brunt of their parents rage.

So please, pray for these poor brothers and sisters of ours this Christmas.

I didnt really intend to do this one...but recent events have inspired it...

I think alot of people get very caught up in the Christmas cheer...sometimes we get a little blinded by it. A recent readers digest article also talks about grieving during the holidays. I can't do much...I can offer an ear or my presence, but there are so many out there who I cant reach...

So I did this drawing, a tribute or memorial to those who have moved on... may God Bless all your souls and give you safe passageway to heaven. May your families be ever protected and blessed in your absence.

Also in loving memory of Fr. David Thexeria

Well another serious post here, but not quite as sad. I was listening to Ryuichi Sakamoto's "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" and I had the urge to draw something based on discovery...

have you guys ever had this urge as a child to just explore the world around you, even deep dark corners turn into places where pockets of adventure could be found. This painting somewhat tries to capture that feeling, of the fascination of wanderlust. Hope you guys like it. oh and it also happens to be the first colour work here.

"No my exams aren't over. I still have one paper but Im losing steam"
"I just don't care liaozzz"
"I stopped studying"

Sound familiar? This is called the last-paper syndrome. It happens when your exams drag on for too long and you can't be bothered to study. And you end up doing a girly dance in a field of flowers while looking really gay after your second last paper.
Just don't forget that there's still one more paper...
