Ha..I always get post happy when i do something new. After that I'll stop posting for weeks on end again.

Anyhow, just dug up lots of oldies...80's music is nice actually..even managed to find my old favourite: Wang Chungs Let's Go

Been a nice week basically...an old friend came back from overseas to visit us. Had very nice siao long bao...tasty stuff man. Oh and yes, I need to buy new clothes..ha... I've not gone for clothes shopping for months, actually if we didnt go to Australia for a holiday recently, it might have been years. Yes..I need less black, more colour...

Actually without having school for so many months, things have gotten rather boring. I kinda miss the interaction with people... then again the peace of being at home is blissful too...I can finally take things slow after two and half hectic years in the military.

Speaking of which, I was just talking to an old camp mate yesterday. After talking, I realised how much freedom I've gained. Yet, living in the army was an experience in itself, it has helped me to appreciate more things, and realise how much more fortunate I am...I used to type a sort of blog thing in camp on my desktop (which I did update periodically - unlike this blog...oh wait, maybe thats why I never blogged..haha) and thinking back on it, I realised I took many things for granted before going in the army. Life is much sweeter now, small accomplishments feel grander. I hope I don't lose this appreciation for things once I go back to school.

You know, I've probably related this a million times to my family, but I still remember the first day. I guess no one really forgets. One minute you're as free as a bird and the next you're suddenly in the army. Heck it happened so fast that I couldnt really get over the fact that I was actually IN the army...haha..

Well I guess its all over now...but everything I think of it, it makes me feel so appreciative of things...

Right I've said enough to put you to sleep I guess. So till next time.
